It had always been a dream of mine to visit Cairo Egypt so I could check out the Giza Pyramids.  They have to be one of the most famous landmarks in the world and I was more than eagar to check them out.  The flight to Egypt was long but well worth it, besides the Sakkara and Giza Pyramids I made sure to visit the Egyptian Museum so I could see all of King Tut's belongings, some temples and mosques in Old Cairo, the city of Alexandria and the Citadel located up there, checked out a Belly Dancer show on a Nile River Cruise, and of course hit the Cairo Hard Rock Cafe.  No trip to Egypt is complete without all of that.  Check out the galleries by clicking the tab below to see all of the pictures and videos from this trip.  Also a little advice to all who may want to venture over to Cairo, be sure to carry small denominations of Egytian Pounds because you will be nickled and dimed to death by people wanting to sell you everything or wanting a tip for something, and if you decide to dine on some of their local delicacies, be careful what you eat. I had some seafood which was looking back at me from the plate and I was reminded of that dinner for several days if you know what I mean, I do owe some thanks to the good people who make Imodium A-D!
